"Spring Awakening" at Emerson College

Whilst pursuing a B.F.A. in Acting, Josie has also been studying American Sign Language. A vast communications school, Emerson offers various tracks to fulfill a Hearing and Deafness minor. Josie chose to complete it with two years of language courses with three different deaf professors, Nancy Vincent-Meotti, Wendy Whiting, and Scott Shupert. Supplementing her education with extracurriculars, Josie is a member of the ASL club, where students engage with the local Boston deaf community.
