Josie Dring - Who is she?

Josie Dring is a multi-hyphenate performer from Westchester County, NY. Growing up in close proximity to New York City, she had the privilege of consuming theatre from a very young age. As soon as she could walk, she was trying to twirl on her tippy-toes, and she soon as she could talk, she was singing. Josie has had the honor of portraying a wide variety of characters, including Miss Honey from Matilda, Davey from Newsies, and most recently: an angsty teen named Beth.

On the right you will see Josie performing in the 2025 Annual Fundraising Gala for The Broadway Training Center, where she spent her childhood growing as an artist.

When not performing, you may find her playing Piano Man by Billy Joel (with the harmonica), doing a handstand, or tap dancing.

Birdland Jazz

Over winter break while I was home for the holidays, I had the opportunity to sing at one of the oldest jazz clubs in NYC! Birdland Jazz in midtown Manhattan!! A dream come true. I sang two classic Ella Fitzgerald songs, "I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm", and "Just One of Those Things". It was an honor to sing with Billy Stritch  on the keys, Steve Doyle on the bass, and Daniel Glass on the drums.
